Hi! I’m Peter Grogan, and I’m originally from Liverpool, and have worked for Hospital Radio Broadgreen, Merseyside’s only hospital radio station, and am also one of the presenters on Coventry Hospital Radio bringing you the series, Best of British Classical, which was nominated for the Best Specialist Programme category at the National Hospital Radio Awards 2014. It consists of 24 parts, and the idea for the series originated from the two major events of 2012, the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee. All the major British composers both past and present are in the series, including Edward Elgar and William Walton, Howard Goodall and John Rutter. The series also includes some of our greatest artists and musicians including Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, Nicola Benedetti and Alfie Boe, So don’t miss The Best of British Classical every Monday and Thursday night at 9pm!
