Born in Coventry a few years ago.  I have been involved in Hospital Radio in Coventry and Nuneaton.  I started at Coventry Hospital Broadcasting Service in the early 70’s when it was in its infancy and the studio was literally a broom cupboard.  I also helped with the set up and inception of Nuneaton’s HR.   Now retired, between family, hospital radio and CCFC not much time for anything else.

Having been a patient in hospital I know how boring it can get and by providing this service it can relieve the boredom and take that edge off when patients my be anxious.
