Julie Hughes-Rowlands
Trainer/Presenter

I am a lady of a curtain age. I had to retire due to ill health.
My initial radio training was at a local radio station. I shadowed a fantastic radio presenter Keith Fabrique who taught me how to listen to music not just hearing it. I still hate jazz I have tried but I just don’t get it.
I am a Cov bird through and through. Born in Wood End, coventry I went to Alderman’s Green infant & junior school my senior school was foxford, I was in Neptune house.
Unfortunately I am now widowed my husband died in 2010. I am a mother of 2 and grandmother of many.
I joined the presenting team here at Coventry Hospital Radio because I think I have a lot to give. I might just volunteer in other areas in the hospital.
I have many hobbies including Ollie my Jack Russel, and really enjoy crafting, crosswords, reading and baking.
