JOE CHALLIS – WARD VISITOR
I’ve been volunteering since 2011.
My role in the radio is going around the wards collecting requests from the patients. I enjoy my role as I feel that I am doing something useful and also making new friends within the radio and also with the people that I meet arounf the hospital.
As well as the radio I also volunteer at the air ambulance charity shop in Atherstone as a fundraiser and till operator.
I have loads of hobbies and interests to fill in my spare time, these include DJ at local events and parties, 10 pin bowling, keeping in touch with friends on facebook and listening to popular music.
