I’m a 65 year old teenager who started with hospital radio in 2010 after suffering a 2nd stroke. I have been involved with music for most of my life having played the trumpet and the guitar for many years.

CHR means that I can be involved with a good team of people that are all after the same goal, that is to make sure that the patients in the hospital are kept occupied, also I feel within myself that I am repaying a little bit for the care that I received from the hospital.

Born and bred in Coventry I attended President Kennedy School many years ago, during the 70’s I was a weekend Dj at The Alhambra in Coventry City Centre, which is no longer there, it used to be behind sainsbury’s where you can now find the complex where BBC CWR Studios now stand, also been  married now for over 40 years with 3 grown up children and 6 grandchildren to keep me occupied.
