Become part of our team as a Radio Presenter
Coventry Hospital Radio (CHR) is always on the lookout for enthusiastic new volunteers to join the team as ‘Radio Presenters.’ If you’re 16 or older, have some free time, can commit at least an hour a week, and want to be part of our award-winning team, just follow one of the links at the bottom of the page to get an application pack. Whether you’ve got great communication skills, a fantastic sense of humour, or a love for a particular music genre, you could be the perfect addition to our group of presenters.
No experience? No worries! We offer full training and support to get you ready to host your very own radio show. Once you’ve completed and passed your training, you’ll record a promo clip for your show and a pre-recorded session for when you can’t be live. All volunteers will need to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service check with UHCW Voluntary Services and share any health issues before starting at Coventry Hospital Radio.
No prior experience is needed to join Coventry Hospital Radio’s team, as full training is provided to get started as a Radio Presenter. The only requirements are being friendly, enthusiastic, approachable, cheerful, and willing to commit for at least 12 months.
